Marinade for Steak or Stir-Fry

Gluten-free, lactose-free, FODMAP friendly

Since I can’t eat beef and I have friends who hunt, much of the meat in my diet is wild game. This tenderizes and adds lovely flavor. It’s quick and easy.

This recipe marinates about half a pound. Double these quantities for a pound, etc.

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp herb-infused olive oil*
  • 1 tsp garlic-infused olive oil*
  • 1 Tbsp cider vinegar

Instructions

  1. Mix ingredients in a shallow bowl, add meat, turn to coat both sides, and marinate about half an hour in refrigerator.
  2. Stir fry game meat until no pink remains, but not one minute longer.

 

*Many of us find garlic-infused oil more digestible than fresh garlic. My local oil-and-vinegar specialty store has an excellent Tuscan Herb olive oil and a wonderful Caramelized Garlic olive oil.
