
Cocktail Sauce for Fish, Shrimp, etc.
Gluten-free, lactose-free, FODMAP friendly
This sauce isn’t as thick as commercial cocktail sauce, but the fresh lemon juice makes it piquant and the horseradish makes it kick. It’s also good on Roasted Potato Wedges or Yam Oven Fries.
Ingredients
- ¼ cup Safe Ketchup
- 1-2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
- ¼ tsp bottled horseradish*
Instructions
- Blend all ingredients and enjoy.
*Bottled horseradish: Check label ingredients, and avoid “horseradish sauce,” which can contain FODMAP-unfriendly ingredients. “Pure” or “Kosher” horseradish sauce will contain very few ingredients other than horseradish root. One good U.S. brand is “Bubbie’s.”
